Haritu we did take him to the hospital, and alhamdulillah everything's ok. His lungs are fine, takde kahak pon. So takyah nebulizer bagai. And since he's a baby, we cant give him cough/flu medication coz those are dangerous for babies.. and ade case baby yang ambik cough/flu medications yg tido and tak bangun terus. So its not good.. Besides, the doctor said for babies, if kena batuk/selsema, its usually viral infection (due to virus), so its a self-limiting disease, nanti virus semua mati and it will heal on its own.
Cuma the most important thing is if the baby has fever, then we must give him fever medication (paracetamol-yang diluted for babies tu ye), coz bahaya if baby kena demam sawan as it can affect the brain.. Demam sawan ni temperature-wise, it can happen when demam tu more than 39'C.. So as soon as u detect ur baby demam ke, just bagi ubat tu reduce the temperature.. and must never let it surpass 39'C..
As the doctor said, "if its 38'C, i'll be worried. Tapi if it gets to 39'C, i'll be extremely worried.. and so do you"..
Cuma his nose was blocked, tu yg cranky semacam je. So the doctor prescribed 'Sterimar', its like a nasal spray lah.. One puff per each side of the nose, and it'll unblock his nose. And its safe too, made from sea water, so no chemicals whatsoever.
And he's now back to his old safe, a very happy baby! :)
And for that, now i'm one very happy mother!
p/s: I know i might be a bit ketinggalan zaman, but i just read about baby Faris's case.. Kesian sangat.. I cried my eyeballs out when reading about him and how strong his parents are from MazidulAkmal's blog.. So to all of us, jom lah sedekahkan pahala bacaan 'Al-Fatihah' untuk arwah..
